Hailing from Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany, in the fall of 2007, six guys got together under the name Avenue Six Left. Only a few months later, they recorded their first demo, which is sold out by now. Within no time at all, their intense live shows spread over the borders of their home state. Among the bands they shared the stage with, there were scene leaders such as War From A Harlots Mouth, Maroon, Born From Pain or Texas In July. Combining the best of metal and hardcore, Avenue Six Left is still a lot different to all the standard metalcore bands out there. Technical parts and synthesizer sounds are presented in the songs as well as the common “breaks” and “moshs”. The melody fraction creates a riffing which is complex and catchy at the same time. Last but not least two versatile singers do one more thing to a fresh and brutal sound. Finalized by none other than Alexander Dietz from Heaven Shall Burn, A6Ls debut CD Faces is ready to cut the constantly growing fanbase directly to the quick. In Deadly Sounds Records, a sub-label of the well-known Dead Serious Records, the band signed to a promising future. In the winter of 2010 A6L will publish the first full-length release on Deadly Sounds Records. Until then, these six boys want to hit as many stages as possible, true to their motto: FACE THE BEAST!
